A Retreat in Mexico - February 18-25, 2012

Arriving at Hotel Lagunita in Yelapa for Chi Gung Retreat
Morning meditation.
A rooster crows.
Swim under the waterfalls.
Walk through the pueblo.
Hike up the river.
Snorkel in the Marrieta Islands.
The pie ladies on the beach--Augustina and Juanita.
A shot of raicilla.
Donkeys on the trail.
Float motionless in warm seas.
Ceviche on the beach.
Morning-caught Dorado for dinner - or lobster ravioli.
Waves come in, breathing in - waves go out, breathing out.
We are in sync with our living, breathing planet and a sense of interbeing, of peace, fills us.
Yelapa Tai Chi with bamboo sticks

Disappear with us to this tiny fishing village, a tropical paradise, 45 minutes by boat south of Puerto Vallarta. For a whole week of peace and harmony.

Each day go deeper, allow your mind/body time to release layers of self and transform.

Our palm-thatched palapa is just a short walk to the edge of the sea.

Over the week you will learn Chi Gung and a short Tai Chi form. All levels are welcome.

Kaj and David also teach a unique Chi Gung style called Duong Sinh, an ancient Vietnamese Zen practice with a long, light bamboo stick. Easily learned, this valuable knowledge can be be practiced thereafter at home in just 20 minutes a day.

Meditation will be led in the morning and evening. Then of course there is the Hotel Lagunita and plenty of free time to soak up Yelapa.

Waves rolling toward us.
Breathe.
Breathe deeply.
Exhale fully, we begin.
